A uid Class 50 is captured as it awaits departure with its express destined for somewhere northerly or easterly at Bristol Temple Meads on Saturday 5 May 1984. Rolleicord Va HP5/Epson 4870. Somebody out there will recognise this loco from the positioning of the dead flies on the front I imagine. If so, please let me know. Do you know the spotters on th right? Must be well into their 40's now I'd have thought.

From mark at 2007-04-30 22:00:53 : I think it is more likely that the 50 is on a cross country service northbound, because the photograph is the east end of Temple Meads, so it is not heading West, but North.
